It was pretty obvious the powers that be were going to run the server into the ground and purposely drive off any casual pay or non paying player. I soon realized this game was not for me. As a long time gamer and someone that has played in E-League I was looking for a mild distraction. Personally I did not experience this but watched it all go down. I'm essence they were pay to win bullies. If you spoke out in world chat or disagreed with them you were targeted and the rules of NAP were ignored. If you didn't spend money or were in a small alliance you were KOS. They were all big spenders and all 5 we the top power in the server. How? Many alt accounts used to draw others to them. They spread out to make the top 5 alliances. The server I was on the leadership was pre-determined by a group of players that left another and started on a new one. If you do not plan on spending at least $100 DO NOT bother playing. If you don't plan on spending any money DO NOT bother with the game. The entire game is so poorly designed that the hope of getting assistance is practically nonexistent, and they almost NEVER patch their mistakes, so if it is messing up, that is just what it will now do from here out!įirst and foremost it's a pay to win game. Other than that, you could attempt to close the game, and reopen it a thousand times, hoping the glitch will fix itself, but I wouldn't hold your breath there honestly. The only true recourse is to try your hand at getting in touch with the company that made the game, for support, which is a waste of time and effort. There are an overwhelming amount of errors/ bugs / glitches in this game, especially for a game that brings in so much money for the developers, and they tend to pop up out of nowhere at the worst times. I am adding to this negative review to inform people that the in game purchase system is horribly broken too. One of the things that has floored me is the existence of that 1 Alliance on your server that makes it a terrible place ot play, we have them too, and if your bubble drops they are ON YOU, and take everything you spent weeks gathering up from you.įrom a common sense standpoint, it IS an addictive thing, and you are not watched out for by the devs either. If you play, you know that Gems are not easy rto get, especially 2500 of them, every 3 days, requires a LOT of hours spent, and thus the accusations of being addictive. This goes to the very structure of the game itself, that you MUST constantly spend, or die, which I am not a rabid fan of. It is a common thing on my server to hear 'Always stay bubbled' because everyone gets hit HARD, even the elite as they get slammed from all sides by several members of the same Alliance. I was thinking, and found that I believe it i very shady to force all players to be using bubbles to keep from getting destroyed. I have been playing Evony now for a little over a year, and have recently come to the conclusion, after another crushing assault because I did not have the 2500 Gems to spend on a Truce, that this game is designed to force spending, or be a monster. Customer service I would give a 1 out of 10 and the bulling they allow on this game I have seen racist slurs thrown many many times and how the men speak to women is atrocious! The game does nothing to those people and let's them hurt people and then those people go after your castle burn it down and take all of your resources when it's not a war and it's peace time. Also if you have issues with the game you either make a ticket or send an email regardless it will take days or even weeks for 1 response and that response want not helpful. You don't life or pull anything and money all down you you to collect. Let me start and say this game allows cyber bullying and does nothing to stop it, the commercials that you see for Evony is not how the game is my keep (castle) is at level 33 and I have never seen a Tiger in the mystery puzzle levels and when you win the round you get a chest. I'm telling you this because this is why I joined the game and it's super misleading! It goes to level 35 and total there are 55 puzzle stages to unlock and the other players have told me that once you unlock all the stages you still don't see a Tiger or gold falling when you win the level. Below is what the mystery puzzles actually look like and you can see it's way different from the game in on level 33.
